What if I replace a guest after the dietary deadline?

You can still replace a guest after the dietary deadline, but the catering arrangements associated with that place cannot be changed.

For example:

  • If the original guest was registered for a vegetarian meal, the replacement guest will receive the vegetarian meal.
  • If the original guest was registered for a vegan meal, the replacement guest will receive the vegan meal.
  • If the original guest was registered for the standard menu, it is not possible to add a new dietary requirement after the deadline.

This is because dietary information has already been shared with the venue and catering arrangements have been finalised.

If you are replacing a guest before the dietary deadline, you can update the dietary requirements in the customer portal at any time.
